Check a pilot’s Remote Pilot certificate through the FAA’s public registry. Search for Jim under James D Kegley, and look for REMOTE PILOT with a SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM rating.

Search by name without a state or city filter: pilots who withhold their public address may be excluded when a location is specified. A displayed issue date may reflect a replacement certificate and should not be used to rank experience.
We welcome requests for insurance documentation and the authorizations applicable to your shoot. Share your location, dates and shot list with Jim so we can review the aircraft, airspace and any permissions needed, including proposed flights over people or moving vehicles.
