A London-based production company needed complex drone shots repeated over time. The crew planned repeatable camera moves and used RTK positioning to improve aircraft positioning accuracy. The client was pleased with the results.

The production company is not named in the published story. RTK supports repeatability, while the finished image also depends on camera setup, framing, timing and conditions.

A route and a performance.

In Inspire 3 3D Dolly mode, the pilot moves forward or backward along a preset path and controls speed. A camera operator can shape framing independently. This creates room to rehearse timing and refine a take.

A repeatable path is not a guarantee of identical images. A site-specific safety assessment, conditions, safe separation, crew and the creative brief still determine what is possible.
